Position Overview:
- A successful Mitigation Manager leads by example in performing quality mitigation and remediation work, while motivating his/her crews to do the same.
- You are key to the training and motivation of all operational personnel. Take care of your employees and they will take care of our customers.
- Build relationships with legacy client base (adjusters and others) and promote a culture of sales where every employee considers themselves a salesperson simply by performing EXCEPTIONAL work.

Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of disaster restoration, water and fire mitigation and mold remediation, etc. Certified individuals preferred but not required. If you’re the right individual, we will get you certified.
- Schedule job assignments.
- Perform estimates, or scrub the estimates created by others on the team.
- Meet with customers, educate, answer questions and resolve concerns.
- Problem solve and teach others to avoid drama within the workplace.
- Provide training for those whom you manage and ensure excellent execution of standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
- Ensure regular safety training
- Perform or manage others who perform QA and moisture/equipment checks as needed.
- Participate in our on-call rotation, receiving calls to dispatch crews to after-hours and weekend emergency losses.
- Interface with adjusters in person, over the phone, and virtually to resolve issues and answer questions about the loss.
- Inspect jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for approval purposes, and requests payments when necessary.
- Resolve issues with customers communicates customer issues, daily job activities with key company staff
- Enforce policies within company employee handbook.
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Good verbal and written and communication skills.
- Role models customer service expectations with home owners, adjusters, vendors etc.
- Knowledge of disaster restoration or construction industry.
- Proficient with using mobile software to enter data.
- Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in training and managing others.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Communicates customer issues, job activities with key company staff.
- Drug/Alcohol/Tobacco free required.
Certifications are preferred, but not required:
- ASD – Applied Structural Drying Technician.
- FSRT – Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician.
- OCT – Odor Control Technician.
- WRT – Water Damage Restoration Technician.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Incumbent must be prepared to:
- Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
- Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
- Don appropriate Personal Protective Equip (PPE); For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
- Be exposed to various inside and outside working conditions.
Compensation and Incentives:
- $1,000 Start up bonus potential after 90 days of employment.
- 75k-90k plus bonuses and overrides
